I would like to nominate myself to be the next blogger for the project. I nominate myself because I want to promote The Millennium Development Goals” MDGs” of the United Nations through this project, work on poverty awareness and try to connect Australians on the way of living in poorer communities around the world, specially in least developed countries. I have travelled to almost all parts of the world, born in Afghanistan, migrated to Pakistan, attended the International Young General Assembly in Southern Africa, as the Youth ambassador from Afghanistan, worked in Italy for the United Nations of the People conference, volunteered for the Oxfam International Youth Parliament in Sydney and attended International Youth Dialogue in Malaysia. I have learned how different peoples perspective is on sustainable development. I would really like to see young people get connected with the rest the world, poor and rich should join together to save this planet from global warming, eradicate poverty work on gender equality and combat HIV/AIDS in Africa and globally.

I would really like to create a Change! Be the Change! a positive Change for a sustainable world, and connect Australians, specially young people with the rest of the world’s poor people.

I speak fluent English, Persian, Pashto Urdu and a bit of Italian. and I have previously worked with people from all over the world during international conferences and summits.
Hope I get an opportunity to Be The Change! ambassador and a blogger for Australia.

I am writing this in support of Sharna Bremner. I have seen her grow into a passionate and inspirational young woman who is the perfect candiadate to be the Outreach Blogger.

She mixes her dedication and zeal for those less fortunate with an easy approachability that make her a certainty to get the message across. I’m confident her blogs would be interesting and entertaining as well as tackle the serious issues in a thoughtful and sensitive manner.

I'd like to show my support for Emily French. I became friends with Emily almost 10 years ago, and during that time I have seen her go from strength to strength and grow into a compassionate and independent young lady. She has great literary talent, and her infectious commitment to a cause combined with her flair for writing pieces that can appeal to all make her an obvious choice for ActionAid! I am very proud of the way that she embraces every challenge put to her, especially since she moved from England to Australia to do her degree, and wish her all the luck in the world - she's the perfect candidate and would be a huge asset to ActionAid. Good luck from England Em!

I’d like to support Katherine Hall’s nomination for outreach blog. I think Kate is an ideal candidate for the position. She has the drive and the ability. She has been able to make her blog entertaining and positive, but at the same time very refreshing and sincere. I was born in Kyrgyzstan myself, but it was not until i met with Kate that i realized how much goes unnoticed...Kate has genuine intentions and even the language barrier didnt slow her down, I think it demonstrates her determination and I am confident that she is capable of executing this task immaculately.

I am writing to express my total support for Sharna Bremner. For all the years I have known Sharna she has displayed a passion for social equity and justice for all the peoples of the world and this combined with her great talent for writing would make her an excellent choice for the ActionAid Outreach Blogger. Sharna is currently undertaking Developmental Studies at university where her outstanding results are further testimony to her dedication to achieving equal opportunities and rights for those people around the world who are less fortunate than us.

Sharna has challenged myself and many others to open their eyes and see the global community in a different light and has personally influenced me to change my own life and make better choices in the way I live. Sharna's unassuming nature, wit and humour allow her to overcome cultural barriers and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Her literary flair and keen perception make her writing a pleasure to read. Sharna is an inspiration to all that know her and the ideal person for the next ActionAid Outreach Blogger. Best of luck Sharna!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to support Emily French's nomination for this post. Emily has an enormous amount of enthusiasm for everything she does, and is always willing to get involved in a project and to contribute everything she can to it. She has travelled to a range of countries, immersed herself in a variety of cultures and is extremely passionate about connecting with people from all walks of life. She is committed to making a difference to those less fortunate than herself in any way she can. She is practical and down-to-Earth, but also warm and empathetic.
She is also an eloquent writer and has often had us enthralled with stories of her time rescuing turtles from poachers in Costa Rica or making friends with young children in a Tanzanian orphanage. Emily is deeply devoted to travelling, to meeting people and to helping others, and for these reasons I believe she would be wonderful for this role.

Katherine Hall is the ideal candidate to be your next outreach blogger. Katherine's previous blog, yurtlogic.tumblr.com, engages the reader immediately with her unique way of framing her experiences. The passion she has for the work she was doing is evident in every entry. If she were successful, her blog would be far from generic (just refer to her entry here!), which I think is most important. Katherine has ample experience using social media, and this, coupled with her previous work with local communities in developing countries would ensure your project is most successful.

I would like to support Katherine Hall's nomination to become the next Outreach Blogger. Over the ten years that I have known her, Katherine's passion and dedication towards the issues of human rights, welfare and poverty have never diminished. Her experiences in Kyrgyzstan and Bolivia have only worked to further her enthusiasm for fighting the root causes of poverty and working with local communities to do so. Her previous blog (and her nomination) clearly demonstrate her ability to convey her experiences and feelings, as well as her compassion. Katherine should definitely be considered for the position, and I strongly believe she would do an excellent job helping to shed light on social injustices.
