Children like Kakoli need shelter at Happy Home

The orphan girl children of Dhaka live in a facility called Happy Home. Some of these girls are abandoned by parents and all of them come from very poor families. Some of them have no families at all. For the last five years, ActionAid Bangladesh has been giving shelter to these children in five different locations in the capital city. ActionAid also arranges safe shelter for these children. They get to eat three decent meals a day and go to school.

Children get shelter, food, education and recreation at Happy Home. You can continue it by helping them.

But ActionAid has funding to continue Happy Home till October 2010. Therefore, future of these children will be again uncertain if we don’t act right now. From our part, this is what we are doing: making appeals to you. The rest depends on you!

If you want to see these children keep on smiling, please fund the Happy Home project. Please contact: Bangladesh.Sponsorship@actionaid.org
